Itachi Uchiha is a major character and an anti-villain in the Naruto anime and manga series. He is an ANBU Captain and a prodigy from Konohagakure's famed Uchiha clan. He joined the criminal organization Akatsuki to serve as a double-spy, to later become an S-rank missing-nin as he participated in murder of his entire clan on orders from higher-ups, in what would become known as the Uchiha clan massacre.
He was voiced by Hideo Ishikawa in Japanese and Crispin Freeman in English.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He genuinely cares and loves his younger brother Sasuke despite their turbulent relationship
- He is very loyal and protective to not only his brother and his parents, but also everyone in the Leaf Village.
- He didn't get corrupted by evil when he saw the war at four years old, when his friend Tenma died and Shisui awakening the Mangekyou Sharingan.
- Itachi never truly wanted to commit the Uchiha Clan Massacre, only getting coerced by it on Danzo's pressure. He also bargained with him to spare Sasuke.
- He cried over having to kill his parents who called him a kind child and said how proud they were of him.
- When he saw his brother awaken the one tomoe Sharingan after killing his clan, he started to cry.
- He sacrificed himself to make Sasuke stronger and show his real potential.
- Sealed Orochimaru in his Totsuka blade so that he won't absorb Sasuke for his nefarious purposes.
- With Sasuke he was acting that he killed his clan for testing his skills to motivate him to be stronger than him.
- Helps restrain Nagato when he was possessed by Kabuto Yakushi and broke his influence while he was getting sealed.
- When he was resurrected, he allies with Sasuke to defeat Kabuto and tell the entire truth to his brother.
- Makes Kabuto undo the Edo Tensei in order to give all the dead people closure and to stop them fighting their loved ones.
- He said that no matter what Sasuke will have done, he would still love him more than any other people.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- When he was acting by saying that he killed his clan to test his skills, he traumatized his brother and made so his brother hated him, opening him up for further corruption from Orochimaru and Tobi.
- In the anime, he burned Yagura, the Fourth Mizukage along with his older partner Juzo Biwa.
- Tortured Kakashi for 72 hours in his reality with his Tsukuyomi ability and same with Sasuke but he keeps showing him when he kills his clan.
- Tried to kidnap Naruto alongside Kisame, agreeing with the latter when Kisame suggested to cut off Naruto's limbs.
- Participated in Akatsuki's efforts to capture the Tailed Beasts, assisting in the deaths of several Jinchurikis.

- Itachi and Obito Uchiha are the only Naruto characters to be both Inconsistently Admirable and Inconsistently Heinous.
