Iris Wilson is a major protagonist in The Great Ace Attorney. Despite only being 10 years old, she has a medical PhD and is an author. She lives with Herlock Sholmes, a famous detective, and often writes about his investigations.[1]
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Admirable?[]
In General[]
- She has the lowest resources in the series, existing before most modern technology and only being a child, and yet still passes the admirable standards.
The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures[]
- Even though Gina pickpocketed her, she still forgave her and befriended her out of kindness.
- She provided Ryunosuke and Susato with a card to present to Gregson, which would allow them to investigate the crime scene, which ended up saving Natsume from going to prison.
- She helped Ryunosuke clear Gina of murder directly, being his assistant. She discovered very relevant things using an invention of hers, allowing the blood to be identified towards its owners. This ended up helping in catching Ashley Graydon for his crimes.
- She even went as far as to accompany Ryunosuke in court in Susato's stead. She helped keep the trial going after Barok van Zieks discredited her blood analysis by getting Graydon on the stand.
The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve[]
- She assisted Ryunosuke again to defend Albert Harebrayne.
- She yet again helped in an investigation to help Barok van Zieks.
- She made a charm that was actually a makeshift radio, allowing Ryunosuke to become aware of Sholmes and Yujin's progress on finding Jigoku.
- She and Sholmes went to Buckingham Palace to show Queen Victoria what Stronghart was doing over in the trial via holograms, crossing the goodness zone.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She stole Klint van Zieks' autopsy report because she recognized the handwriting as her father's.
- A few years later, she showed desperation to hide it, even hiding a key in her mouth to do so. While she ultimately admitted to it, it took a lot of prodding. However, considering she felt very guilty over it, this is a minor prevention.
- She threatened Gina into apologizing to Sholmes for stealing from them with a smoke launcher.
- Iris withheld the postcard from Susato explaining her return from Ryunosuke. However, since this was to make him pleasantly surprised when she showed up, it's a minor prevention.
- She blackmails Gregson into letting her and Ryunosuke investigate the crime scene by threatening to portray him badly in her next book. This was necessary to investigate the crime scene, but comes off as slightly anti-heroic.
