Saika Sherrinford Holmes, also known as Ideal Detective, is the overarching protagonist of Process of Elimination. She's the second highest ranked detective in the Detective Alliance, and one of the smartest and most selfless people there.

She was voiced by Kaya Okuno.

What Makes Her Admirable?

• In the past, she solved 2098 cases, including stopping a bombing attempt at a government office and an attempt at a mass shooting.
• She helps connect the group and inspire them, leading to them gaining more confidence in themselves.
• She helps Incompetent figure out details of Senior's murder.
• When the SPX is lured out, Ideal sacrifices her own life to save everyone else, allowing them to escape and hide in the mansion.
• She comes back as a ghost to help inspire Incompetent to continue in solving mysteries and saving lives.
• She ultimately gives Incompetent enough confidence in himself to bring the Quartering Duke to justice.

What Makes Her Inconsistent?

• After becoming a ghost, she becomes more mischievous, enjoying scaring Incompetent.
• At one point, she forces Incompetent to use his powers to see what would happen if he peeked on Posh, Bookworm, and Gourmet while they were bathing. This ultimately leads to Incompetent having to look at them while naked, including Bookworm, who is only 12. This then also forces him to experience the feeling of being beaten to death by them in rage, before snapping back to reality. This is far, far too corrupting for Near Pure Good.

• She's an odd case of an Inconsistently Admirable, as she shows no corrupting qualities while alive, but after her death, she gains considerably more.
