Professor Hirotoshi Isayama is the overarching protagonist of the film Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable[]

  • Prior to the film, he tried to warn people of Godzilla’s return and at some point reawakened Baragon and Mothra
  • While in jail, he Informed Yuri Tachibana that the new Godzilla was made of the souls of those lost during the pacific conflict and was intending on destroying Japan and that the guardian monsters were the only ones capable of stopping it before later requesting that she go to the Aokigahara forest to awaken King Ghidorah.
  • Upon being freed from jail by Baragon, he went to the Aokigahara forest and awakened King Ghidorah to help Mothra defeat Godzilla.
  • Unlike the guardian monsters, Hirotoshi Isayama genuinely wants to protect the people of Japan rather than the island itself.

What Makes Him Inconsistent[]

  • Throughout the film, he is often presented in a creepy and mysterious way even though he is on the side of good (e.g. disappearing after Yuri saw him standing near trees during his introduction, the revelation that he was a ghost and that he had vanished from the tape Yuri interviewed him in), thus darkening the mood of the film to an extent.
