His Goodness Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- While he starts out as a cold-blooded assassin, he begins to become disillusioned with his job after meeting Agnes and eventually abandons it, wanting to live a free life with her.
- After being ordered by the Commission to kill Cha-Cha, he incapacitates her instead and leaves with Agnes despite Cha-Cha still attempting to kill him.
- He offers to help Five stop the apocalypse in order to be with Agnes, and then saves her from both Cha-Cha and the Handler who had taken her hostage, before departing from the current timeline to escape the end of the world.
- He spends twenty years living a peaceful life Agnes, during which he becomes much more easy-going and friendly.
- After Agnes dies of cancer, he travels to 1963 to save and warn Five of an imminent nuclear apocalypse and then gives his life so that Five can escape from the Swedes and stop the apocalypse, meaning billions of lives were saved and redeeming himself from his past as a killer.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Despite his eventual redemption, he is an extremely villainous character for most of the show, being a trained killer for the Temps Commission who had tortured and killed many people in the past alongside Cha-Cha, as shown by the ghosts that Klaus sees.
- He spends most of season one trying to kill Number Five to ensure that the apocalypse happens, which would have killed most, if not all life on Earth. He also kidnaps Klaus and aids Cha-Cha in killing Detective Patch.
- Even following his abandonment of the Temps Commission, he is still quite lethal as he doesn't hesitate to shoot the Handler in the head to save Agnes.
