Harleen Quinzel (also known as Harley Quinn) of the alternate universe is a major character in the Injustice franchise. She is a twisted alternate version of Harley Quinn, a former villain who gave up being a villain because she lost her corrupting influence.
She was voiced by Tara Strong who also voiced Timmy Turner from The Fairly Oddparents, Raven from Teen Titans and her reboot incarnation in Teen Titans Go!.
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Admirable?[]
- She joins Batman's team to stop Superman and his Regime.
- Felt remorse for her crimes and even tearfully admitted to her daughter Lucy that She expected Superman to save Lois and Metropolis only for her and everyone else to suffer the consequences when he didn't.
- She cared about Billy despite her weird creepy crush on him and mourned his death at the hands of Superman.
- She was also genuinely affable to Oliver Queen and suggested he rename his Arrow Cave to the Quiver, which, even he agreed on.
- Turned on the Joker for good after a version of him tried to kill her and made her finally realize she never cared about her and only saw her as a tool for his plans, which carries on into the sequel when she successfully resists relapsing back into villainy and fights a hallucination of him invoked by Scarecrows fear toxin.
- Even before her redemption, she was very protective of her daughter Lucy and gave her away to her sister to raise her, having enough sense to know the Joker would be a horrible father towards her.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- The main reason she cannot qualify as Near Pure Good is because she willingly helped Joker corrupt Superman by kidnapping Lois and drugging Superman into hallucinating her as Doomsday causing him to kill her by flying her into outer space meaning the events of the Injustice franchise are partially her fault, although she does try to atone for this along with her past misdeeds.
- She's also responsible for the deaths of millions of metropolis since she helped the Joker planted a bomb in Lois' heart that exploded the town when she died.
- She had a weird creepy crush on Billy Batson/Shazam who was literally a teenager in a man's body.
- Even after her redemption, she still retains some of her lethal and sadistic tendencies, such as when she threatened to shoot one of Billy Batson’s classmates if he didn’t transform into Shazam. She even admits in her non-canon arcade ending that she sometimes has the urge to “bash some heads”.
- Her being stabbed by Wonder Woman, while horrible and brutal (with even Supergirl being horrified to see it), also doesn't make her a scapegoat given her crimes, something even the Hate Sink Wonder Woman calls her out on (even though Wonder Woman is, if not, now far worse than both Harley and Superman combined).
