Hakumen is the major character of the BlazBlue series and the leader of the Six Heroes who resides within the Sankishin's Susano'o Unit.
Originally born as Jin Kisaragi in one of the timeline until his tragedy struck and Rachel Alucard offered him a chance of becoming a hero. Jin accepted the offer and he was reborn as Hakumen.
He is voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara in Japanese, and David Vincent in English.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
Dark War/Prologue[]
- While he does not like to admit it, he still cares for his fellow Six Heroes (barring Terumi), especially Jubei and Trinity.
- When ambushed by the OLN soldiers, he protected Trinity.
- Saved Celica from the OLN soldiers and called out Nirvana to retreat.
- Lead the Six Heroes into destroying the Black Beast, being the main factor of winning the Dark War.
- Helps Jubei in destroying the cauldron to prevent more beings like the Black Beast from being born.
- After being betrayed by Terumi, he dragged the bastard into the cauldron in an attempt to prevent him from escaping, while sacrificing himself in the process.
Calamity Trigger[]
- He warned Carl about the risk of using the Nox Nyctores.
- Despite being an antagonist, he tried to stop Ragna from fighting the Murokumo Unit Nu-13 in good intention to prevent her to merge with Ragna in becoming the Black Beast.
Continuum Shift[]
- He fend off Mu-12 to depend the Amaterasu along with Jin, until Ragna arrived to finish the job.
- Spares Ragna for his heroism despite still seeing him as a vessel of the Black Beast.
Chronophantasma[]
- He saved Tsubaki from Ragna’s blade and ordered her to retreat.
- Informed Jin about Izayoi’s power, and why he needed to pursue it.
- Fend of Azrael, which bought Celica enough time to distract to Mad Dog and allow the two to escape.
- Participated in the final battle against Hades Izanami.
- Helps Jin in destroying the monolith’s foundation, severely weakening Takemikazuchi.
Central Fiction[]
- He journeyed with the others (namely Jin, Tsubaki, Noel, Ragna, Lambda-11, Rachel, and Kagura) to the Embryo.
- Fought Relius Clover in the Altar and defeated him.
- Defended Tsubaki from berserk Nu’s blades, which he failed to do in his last life.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is way too much of a jerk to be Near Pure Good, let alone Pure Good. He acts this way towards everyone, even his fellow Six Heroes. The only exceptions being Tsubaki and maybe Celica and Trinity. He would often called people he hates insulting names, like with Kokonoe as Grimalkin.
- He is often lethal where he has no problem pointing his blade towards anyone and anything he deems evil, such as Ragna.
- He is also shown to be arrogant as he believes he can handle dire situations on his own, even when he knows he is not at his full potential like back during the Dark War.
Trivia[]
- He is the only BlazBlue character, so far, to be Inconsistently Admirable.
