Godzilla, also known as Godzilla Prime is the main protagonist of Monster Island Buddies.He is the alcoholic former King of the Monsters and the best friend of Rodan and Jet Jaguar, as well as the father of Minilla.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
In General[]
- While he initially started off as uncaring and distant towards his son Minilla as well as his step son Zilla and briefly his 2 adopted sons, he eventually grew to genuinely care/love and respect them, with him showing pride in his son for managing to defeat Keizer Ghidorah in the season 7 finale before later admitting to Jirass that the two of them were crappy parents and that they were young and dumb and impatient, and that he had grown exactly like his father despite promising himself that he would make sure he wouldn’t.
Season 1[]
- In episode 2, he and Jet Jaguar attempted to reason with Rodan when he started becoming a hoarder after finding out that his crush Mothra was dating King Ghidorah
- In episode 8, advised Jet to call a smug pettler (Hedorah) to keep him company in Vegas when the former asked him.
- In episode 10, he and Rodan went to tell Mothra about King Ghidorah cheating on her at the bar (at least what he thought Rodan had saw, in reality it was three ponies though Ghidorah later turned out to be a cheater afterwards).
- In episode 12, he brought back Jet Jaguar to Mechagodzilla after he got dismantled by King Ghidorah, allowing him to be rebuilt.
- In episode 13, he defeated King Ghidorah.
Season 2[]
- In the first half of the season, Godzilla became extremely self absorbed and arrogant after becoming a celebrity and becoming addicted to drugs, with him at temporally abandoning his friends. However, after his fame and addiction started to backfire and make him be labeled as a lunatic, he eventually felt remorse for it and by the end of the season managed to make up with them and become friends again.
- In episode 25, he helped free the past version of himself and later switch Mechagodzilla from evil mode back to his good mode.
- In episode 26, he helped free all the monsters who were held prisoners by the LESBIANS.
Season 3[]
- In episode 28, he defeated Magneto.
- In episode 30, he defeated Shredder, Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady, renting them from opening a portal and committing an evil plan.
- In the beginning of episode 32, he defeated The Joker and Penguin In the same episode, after some encouragement form Cyclops (from X-men), he later returned back to Monster Island and defeated King Kong, preventing him from conquering Monster Island.
- In episode 33, he managed to convince Earl into giving up trying to haunt him and his friends by writing and giving him the second fan news later that he had forgot to send him.
- After having a drunk late one-night stand with Mothra (Rodan’s crush), he immediately felt remorse for it, with him even saying it was a mistake, even though he thought Rodan was dead at the time from sacrificing himself).
- In episode 37, he helped Alien X, Jet Jaguar, and Rodan defeat Destoroyah.
Season 4[]
- In episode 50, rather than going to fight King Kong, he instead chose to help his friends battle against Keizer in order to stop him from conquering Earth By the end of the episode, as he was going into meltdown mode, he managed to sacrifice himself and take down what he thought was Keizer (secretly Alien X in disguise), preventing him from killing the reborn Mothra. Additionally, before doing so, he advised Zilla to teach Minilla how to be the king of the monsters.
Season 5[]
- In episode 56, he helped King Ghidorah (as well as himself) get out of purgatory by beating Lord Blundergosh in a game of bear pong, allowing the former to help Mothra eventually convince his father into creating a truce between the good and bad monsters, even if it was eventually broken later thanks to Kong.
- In episode 64, after some encouragement from his friends, he ultimately decided to not break the truce. Following this, he later managed to trick Lord Bludnergosh into taking his father Gojira instead of him, preventing the latter from breaking the truce and instigating a war.
Season 6[]
- In episode 69, he went to get Minilla back after Kong took custody and later allowed Gorosaurus to ride on his lap on a plane to monster island (albeit reluctantly) after Minilla defeated Kong.
Season 7[]
- In episode 81, he helped defeated Ultraman as he was about to attack his friend's base.
- In episode 89, he reassured his friends that the afterlife wasn’t that bad and that he couldn’t think of a better group to die alongside.
Season 8[]
- In episode 100, he helped other versions of himself and Minilla fend off against Cthulhu and stop him from killing his friends. Additionally, during this fight he helped Minilla and Mechagodzilla defeat Keizer Ghidorah by putting him in a Time Machine, resulting in him jumping out and later getting arrested.
Season 9[]
- In episode 105, he helped Rodan and Jet Jaguar escape from the video game world Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy had thrown them in before later defeating all 4 of them himself.
- In episode 110, he helped Mechagodzilla and Ultraman defeat King Kong Jr. by kicking him into the inter-dimensional portal. Following this, he later helped the rest of Ultra backa defeat some of Belial’s minions.
- In episode 115, he helped break Ultraman Zero out of some ice, allowing Ultraman to hold the latter in place as he shot a beam out of his head and destroyed Hyper Mecha King Ghidorah’s force field system.
- In episode 123, he managed to help Minilla recover from his injuries from Massacre by placing him near Mechagodzilla’s interdimensional portal, resulting in him later becoming reenergize and temporarily defeating Massacre, who was planning on committing genocide on all the Godzilla’s from different dimensions.
- In episode 134, he defeated Dr. Gori and Karas, resulting in the former getting arrested by Specterman while also preventing him from conquering Earth.
- In episode 143, he managed to restore his friendship with Jet Jaguar, even after he had attacking him in an attempt to fulfill a prophecy that would bring peace, all while reassuring him that he wasn’t just a machine. Additionally, he also managed to convince his ex-wife Gorgo into letting his son join hollow earth after his reckless act of attacking jet and the LESBIANs resulted in him and his son being banned.
- In episode 144, he helped Jet Jaguar escape from a train.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is way too lethal to ever be PG or NPG, with him usually roasting his opponents with his atomic breath while acting completely indifferent towards it. For examples:
- Killing Magneto, Shredder, Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, The Joker, The Penguin, several other villains of other superheroes he teamed up with.
- Killing all the superheroes (e.g. Batman, Robin, the ninja turtles, the avengers) who tried to kill him with his atomic breath in episode 39. While it was in self-defense, he was completely apathetic about it.
- Killing all the four animatronics in episode 105.
- He has way too many jerkish moments. For examples:
- Him making fun of Stay puff marshmallow man’s weight throughout Season 7.
- Him forgetting who Baragon while at his funeral when he thought he died.
- Him barging into Gorosaurus’s house uninvited (alongside Rodan and Jet Jaguar) and eating all of his pork, all while attacking the other guests who tried to stop them.
- Him telling Jet Jaguar he wasn’t rocky when he climbed the Philadelphia Museum of arts and started quoting Rocky.
- He can spiteful as shown in episode 107, when he purposely tried to a find a new place that for the other Godzilla’s from other dimensions that were living in his house simply because they were annoying, claiming “I don’t want it to be too nice because “f#ck those guys”. Another example is in episode 135 where he has the now reformed King Godzilla and Hyper Mecha King Ghidorah attack the other Godzilla’s in his house while shouting “Godzilla prime b!+ch}”.
Trivia[]
- He, Rodan, Lord Blundergosh, and The Space Time Pair of Ducks are the only Monster Island Buddies heroes to be Inconsistently Admirable.
