Gareth, also known as Gary, is a supporting character of the 2010 Cartoon Network series Regular Show. He is an immortal Synthesian who serves as the chauffeur and close associate of the Guardians of Eternal Youth, and is a good friend of Skips.
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He has helped Skips on numerous occasions throughout the show since they were in high school (as seen in "Skips' Story," when the latter was named Walks), playing a big part in defeating Klorgbane for the first time by helping the Guardians of Eternal Youth make the Fists of Justice (the only weapon that can hurt the villain) and deliver them to the prom hall, and banging them to make them fly toward the yeti's hands (which gave Walks the power boost he needed to finally get the upper hand on his bully).
- He defended Mordecai and Rigby from Judge Broseph Chillaxton when they were put on trial for being "too cool" in "Cool Bikes" and asked that the defendants' charges be dropped.
- He was among the allies who came to the aid of The Park crew when Garrett Bobby Ferguson Jr. and his villain allies took over The Park and constructed Exit 9B over it in "Exit 9B." During the battle, he, Benson, and Rigby saved Thomas so the latter could sign the document and save The Park.
- He served as one of Skips' wingmen in "Skips in the Saddle" when the yeti was temporarily getting back into the dating game many decades after having lost Mona.
- He played a big part in saving Synthos from David's oppressive rule in "Gary's Synthesizer," challenging the latter to a synthesizer duel and launching his half-brother's physical form into the Synth Star. Before that; he saved Mordecai, Rigby, Skips, Keith, and Robert from being executed by breaking the prison ship's glass and pausing the launch sequence; and after that he declared Synthos would have no ruler (though he would remain its king) and the planet's citizens would be free to allow their music to guide them.
- He came to The Park workers' party to help cheer up Pops before the latter faced Anti-Pops in "Cheer Up Pops."
- He helped The Park crew in the final battle against Anti-Pops, Streaming, and their minions in "A Regular Epic Final Battle," delivering the most powerful blow to the personification of the Internet's videos with help from the Guardians of Eternal Youth.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He took Skips to be executed on the Guardians' orders when the yeti didn't finish performing the dance that kept his appearance youthful and his immortality intact in the former's debut in "Free Cake," stating it as "just doing [his] job" when Skips pled with him to stop.
- He cheated using magic as a member of the Magical Elements when they went up against the Park Strikers in bowling in "Skips Strikes" and later against Benson's Ballerz in dodgeball in "Dodge This."
