| “ | I'm not a nerd, nerd. | „ |
| ~ Erica Sinclair's most infamous quote. |
Erica Sinclair is a major character in Stranger Things. She is the younger sister of Lucas Sinclair. She became involved in the Upside Down horror after being asked by Dustin, Steve and Robin to help them infiltrate a Russian base with them discovering the existence of a new gate that would lead to the Mind Flayer's return.
She was portrayed by Priah Ferguson
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Admirable?[]
- While she turned off Lucas's Walkie Talkie when Dustin was trying to call him over an emergency, she was a little girl and had no idea what "Code Red" meant.
- She snuck into the vent of the Russian lab in Starcourt Mall, allowing the rest of the Scoops Troops to proceed.
- She helps the others search the Russian base to find hints of a terrorism plot.
- She and Dustin sneak around the base and eventually rescue Robin and Steve from torture and imprisonment, dragging their drugged carcasses.
- She informs Jason Carver that D&D isn't a cult when he refers to them as demons at the Town Hall Meeting.
- Upon learning about Vecna, she essentially helps Dustin and Lucas figure out Vecna is killing people to open portals to the Upside Down.
- She notices flickering lights in the house, which turns out to be Steve, Eddie, Robin and Nancy trying to communicate for the Upside Down.
- She helps Dustin, Lucas, and Max escape from the police by slashing their tires so they can escape and stop Vecna.
- After learning of Vecna's true identity, she joins her friends in preparing to fight and kill him.
- Alongside Lucas and Max, she goes to the Creel House to locate Vecna. She ends up finding his presence with a light flicker from her.
- She guards the Creel House as Max offers herself as bait to lure Vecna and informs them when to begin the plan. She then ends up fighting off against Jason's teenage friend, Andy, who is trying to sabotage the ritual. After knocking him out with a flashlight, she rushes to Lucas to warn him about the danger.
- She supports her brother when he reads to Max at the hospital.
- She agrees to aid the Party in the plan to kidnap the Turnbow Family to get them out of their home to safety and lure Vecna's Demogorgon into a trap, using sleeping pills on the family and knocking out Tina with a sedative.
- She stopped Derek from running away.
- She later got on a tower to keep eyes on the military while the rest executed their plan to get the kids to safety.
- While the admirable standard is pretty high, she has very low resources due to her age and lack of equipment as well helping stop the Russians while playing a minor part in stopping Vecna later.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She is way too jerkish for Near Pure Good as she constantly makes fun of other people, mainly her brother and her friends, being infamous for calling people "nerds."
- She is mischievous and enjoys causing trouble. She is also quite aggressive and immature as she almost didn't help due to arguing with Tina over a boy and knocked her out with a sedative quite angrily.
- She had selfish motivations in wanting to help America, as she would only do it for free ice cream for the rest of her life from Scoops Troop. Even in Season 5, she still refused to help out Lucas and Mike due to simply not wanting to either save Derek's life and not wishing to interact with Tina due to a petty argument, partly only agreeing to help due to being promised Tina would never want to talk to her again.
