Edward Charles Allan "Eddie" Brock is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Venom) of the Venom trilogy within Sony's Spider-Man Universe and a minor character in the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Even though he's against Venom eating people's brains, he still allows him to do so to criminals he deems worthy of such act. While you could say Venom needs the brains in order to survive, it’s still a bit too lethal for NPG.
- He can be a massive jerk, especially toward Venom, such as the time he called Venom an “amoeba” because he was upset about Anne being engaged to Dan.
- He refuses to take accountability for causing both himself and Anne to lose their jobs, entirely blaming Drake for it, and at one point even blaming Maria, who had nothing to do with the incident.
- Rather than asking Cletus why he killed his family, he jumps to conclusions and tells the public a one-sided story of Cletus killing his family for fun when, in reality, Cletus did so because they abused him first, which even Cletus calls him out for it.
- He initially intended to prove his innocence and clear his name by traveling to NYC to blackmail a judge he was acquainted with.
Trivia[]
- While both he and Venom are Inconsistently Admirable (with Venom also a Villainous Benchmark), Carlton Drake and the symbiote he bonded with, Riot, are both Pure Evil. Cletus Kasady and Carnage are the only pair of symbiote and host that doesn't share a status, as Cletus is Near Pure Evil while Carnage is Pure Evil.
- Along his original counterpart, are the only Venom Inconsistently Admirable, although the Symbiote's original counterpart is approved as Inconsistently Heinous.
