Edward, better known as Edd, is the titular main protagonist of Eddsworld as well as one of the main characters along side Tom and Matt.

He's a teenager who lived in United Kingdom with his friends Tom, Matt and formerly Tord and often go on adventures with them.

He was originally voiced by the late series creator Edd Gould, and was voiced by Tim Hautekiet during Eddsworld Legacy, and is currently voiced by George Gould.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

Similar to Tord’s villainy predicted on one of the earliest episodes, Edd’s heroism was merely predicted on F is for Fun.
He tried to save himself and his friends from the clones.
He and Tom fought against Zombeh Matt and his army in the first and the third part of Zombeh Attack trilogy and successfully stopped the zombie apocalypse with the cost of their lives.
He tried to bring Zombeh Tord to the Afterlife.
He felt sad when Tord was leaving.
He, Matt and Zanta Claws tried to stop Tom from causing more destruction in Zanta Claws 3 and succeeded.
Even though the Aliens turned out to be bad guys, Edd tried to fix the Alien’s ship that was almost going to kill the three.
He fought against Eduardo as Numero Uno, who was destroying the city.
In The End (Part 2), he and Matt tried to stop Tord from taking over the world and succeeded in holding Tord back, which is enough for Tom to grab his harpoon.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

He's a massive jerk at times, as he occasionally provokes people for no reason, and can even taunt or threaten his friends for not following his will.
He is very lethal, as he sometimes seems to be delighted when he kills his target, despite most of his kills are for self-defense.

Trivia[]

He and Tom are the only Eddsworld characters to be Inconsistently Admirable.
Coincidentally, his original voice actor, Edd Gould, also voiced an inconsistently heinous character.
