Donald Fauntleroy Duck, simply known as Donald Duck, is one of the main characters of the Mickey Mouse franchise and the titular main protagonist of the Donald Duck franchise. He is a short-tempered, unlucky, but loyal duck who is the best friend of Mickey Mouse and the boyfriend of Daisy Duck.

He was voiced by the late Clarence Nash (1934-1985) and is now voiced by Tony Anselmo (1985-present) and was voiced by Daniel Ross in Mickey and the Roadster Racers/Mixed-Up Adventures.

Synopsis[]

This section is too long. Visit here for more details: Donald Duck's Synopsis on the Heroes Wiki.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

In General[]

  • He helped Mickey and friends stop Pete and other villainous threats on numerous occasions.
  • He himself stopped Pete and other villainous threats on numerous occasions.
  • Despite being at each other's throats most of the time, he is protective of his nephews and has saved them whenever they were in danger numerous times.
  • He tends to be remorseful for his underhanded actions at times.
  • When he realizes he went too far with his actions, he immediately shows remorse for it and tries to make up for it.
  • Even though he has a rivalry with Mickey, he often puts it aside and works together with him most of the time.
  • He cares about his girlfriend, Daisy and often tries to please her and control his temper for the sake of their relationship.
  • In the Duck Avenger comic book series, he serves as his alter-ego, the Duck Avenger and protected Duckburg from various villains.
  • In the Double Duck comic book, he served as a secret agent and protected the world numerous times.

In other media[]

  • He defeated a shark that threatened him and his nephews.
  • He destroyed the Japanese airfield under the orders of the army.
  • He tried to protect Old Sequoia from two beavers who tried to break it down.
  • Even though he didn't listen to his nephew's advice at first about a fire drill, he later takes their advice and explains his fire survival plan to them and teaches them how to escape.
  • In The Prince and the Pauper, he helps the Prince battle Pete and the guards and to take his place as king.
  • He saved Daisy when she was kidnapped by Merlock the Magician.
  • Even though he initially wanted to get back at Mickey for his April Fools Prank by having Pumbaa fart through the air vent to stink up the club, he later felt bad for it and sacrificed himself to save the House of Mouse from being stunk by Pumbaa's fart by taking him outside and apologized to Mickey for his attempted prank.
  • He stands up for Mickey by throwing Mortimer Mouse offstage when he started insulting Mickey.
  • Even though he told Dennis the Duck he wasn't funny, he later felt bad and searched for him and becomes nicer to him.
  • He accompanies Sora and saved many worlds from darkness with him and Goofy in the Kingdom Hearts series.
  • He assists Sora in his battle with major antagonists and has protected him on occasions.
  • Even though he didn't care for Sora at first, he later comes back to protect him from Riku after realizing how much his friendship grew with him.
  • He uses his Zettaflare on Terra-Xehanort to protect his friends from him.
  • In Legend of the Three Caballeros, he joined with Jose Carioca and Panchito Pistoles and stopped numerous villains in the episodes, including that of Lord Felldrake Sheldgoose, who tried to conquer the universe.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He is too wrathful and a berserker as he has thrown childish temper tantrums innumerable times, sometimes over the very pettiest of provocation, such as when he trashed Daisy's apartment in a fit of rage after failing to crack her window open.
  • He has many jerkish moments such as picking on his nephews multiple times, pranking Chip and Dale, and trying to sabotage Mickey for being better than him while all being unprovoked. He once spends his entire day going around treating people like garbage just because his cereal got soggy, which even his nephews found bizarre.
  • He can act arrogant, stubborn and egotistical. Donald brags about being better at something and sometimes ignores advice from others which makes it go to his head. He also underestimates people like Witch Hazel and he poured water on her when all she did was introduce herself to him.
  • He is too lethal as he once carried an ax and tried to kill Mickey's cow after breaking into insanity over starvation, opened fire at an audience with a machine gun just for simply laughing at him, placed dynamite in his nephews' Halloween bags (it's a wonder it didn't kill them) and tried to kill Chip and Dale with deadly atomic pills just for eating his apples on his farm.
  • He is also destructive since he blew up his nephews' Halloween bags and wrecked his nephews' snowman, the latter being just because he mistook it for being parodied after his likeness when it actually wasn't.
    • He also committed genocide as he destroyed numerous planets and even the Earth as the Duck of Doom in the Quack Pack episode "The Really Mighty Ducks" while antagonizing Huey, Dewey, and Louie just because they wouldn't clean their room, eventually killing everyone who lived on the Earth, even his girlfriend Daisy.
  • He is very mischievous at times and pranks others for his amusement.
  • He is dishonest since he kept lying to the hen that he has a bellyache when he could've just told her he didn't have to help her plant or harvest corn. He also cheats in a skating race with his nephews.
  • He is jealous of Mickey's fame and has tried many times to upstage him.

Trivia[]

  • Darkwing Duck series was meant to be about him being spy. If this idea was approved, he would likely become more Admirable, since most of Darkwing Duck's Admirable actions, likely, would be his.
