Domina Profundis is a minor character in the Netflix animated series The Dragon Prince. She is the Archdragon of the Ocean who, after the death of her friend, the Empress of the Deep, decided to solely protect the oceans rather than all of Xadia. She returns to help the world by helping in stopping Aaravos, giving her life to protect Team Zym and their allies during such.
She was voiced by Jennifer Hale.

What Makes Her Admirable?[]
- In the past, Domina would watch over all of Xadia and protect it from any threat she found, even aiding other archdragons with the same goal.
- Like all the other archdragons, she agreed to allow Queen Aditi to decide who would become the next king of the dragons, and after it became Avizandum, she accepted his title despite having previously fought for it.
- She kept the truth about Akiyu knowing about the location of Aaravos' prison for 300 years, which helped in keeping it safe. Her knowledge of this also shows that she allowed Akiyu to live despite how much information shd had on Aaravos.
- After the death of the Empress of the Deep, she decided to guard the oceans and protect them and the creatures living in them, doing so for centuries.
- She prevented Finnegrin from conquering the ocean and continuing to kill sea creatures such as sea leviathans and krakens.
- She told Ezran about Akiyu's knowledge location of Aaravos' prison, allowing him and the rest of Team Zym to stop Claudia before she could get to the prison and thus temporarily preventing Aaravos' return.
- She fought against and helped in defeating Aaravos, ending his plan to achieve eternal night and destroying his physical form, thus making him unable to return to Xadia for 7 years.
- She sacrificed herself to protect Team Zym and their allies from the explosion caused by the destruction of Aaravos' physical form.
- Her sacrifice, along with those of the other archdragons, allowed Team Zym to retain their morality and gave them a chance to prepare for Aaravos when he returns.
- Despite the very high admirable standards of the series, Domina still stands out with her actions of protecting the oceans and previously Xadia, preventing Finnegrin's plan to conquer the ocean, and helping significantly in defeating Aaravos.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She is far too lethal to be Near Pure Good, as she killed the thousands of people who murdered her friend, the Empress of the Deep, by drowing their ships out of revenge for what they did, which is played as a dark moment and is used to compare to Ezran, whose grief over the loss of his father lead to him falling himself in darkness, and distancing his friends and brother. In addition, she also killed Shelley and threatened to drown Finnegrin if he ever left the shores.
- She is shown having a very cold moment where she hits Ezran, Corvus, and Soren with a wave and refusing to listen to what the former had to say until he was defended by Zubeia.
- Like the other archdragons, she fought bitterly with the members of her kind to become queen of the dragons after the death of Luna Tenebris, although she does come to let go of this and respect Avizandum and Zubeia as king and queen, respectively, making this a minor prevention.

- Alongside Avizandum and Akiyu, Domina is one of the three characters in The Dragon Prince to be Inconsistently Admirable so far.
