~ Daxter to Seem. |
Daxter is the titular deuteragonist of the Jak and Daxter franchise and the titular main protagonist of the midquel game of the same name. He is Jak's best friend and sidekick who turned into an "ottsel" after falling into Dark Eco.
He was voiced by Max Casella in the English dub and Teiyu Ichiryusai in the Japanese dub.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
Alongside Jak[]
- Helped many citizens with their problems in Sandover Village.
- Saved many cities and stopped many villains.
- Rescued the four sages, who were abducted by Gol and Maia.
- Joined forces with the Underground Resistance and did many feats that make the people of Haven City's lives better.
- Defeated Metal Kor in the second game.
- Defeated Count Vegar in the third game.
- He, Jak, and Keira traveled to Brink Island to find a new eco source.
- Stopped and defeated Skyheed from stealing power from the eco core.
On His Own Accord[]
- He helped Jak save many worlds and inhabitants from many threats.
- In Daxter, when Jak was kidnapped, Daxter went on a quest to save him.
- He became a bug exterminator and got rid of poisonous metal bugs from Haven City, saving many people from being affected and completed various missions for other people.
- He defeated many bosses in the game as well.
- He saved Tik from being found out by Erol and Kaeden and retrieved the road map to find Jak.
- He defeated Metal Kaeden and foils his plan to take over the Extermination Company and saved Haven City from him.
- He avenged Tik who was murdered by Kaeden.
- He rescues Jak when he was chained up in the fortress.
- Retrieved the time map by playing "Metal Head Mash".
- Won the Class 2 race for his friends to qualify for the championship race.
- Helps Jak get through hazards such as helping him corral wild leapers, pushing down a pillar, helping Jak travel across the volcanic area, manned a missile turret to deactivate a KG barrier, collected necessary codes to deactivate the eco grid, and activated and deactivated barrier devices in the KG war factory.
- When he was permitted to go back to Haven City when Jak was banished, he chose to still be with Jak.
- While he once had a perverted side as he hits on many women, it wasn't until he met Tess that he would subvert this as he isn't shown doing it again since then.
- He has lesser resources since he is a small animal while the rest are humans.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is far too jerkish, arrogant, and egotistical for NPG as he picks fights with people (mostly Pecker), constantly mocks people, doesn't take things seriously, and is too full of himself.
- He tends to make tall tales and brag of how he's the hero and Jak is the sidekick, when it's really the opposite.
- He is lethal as he can enjoy killing enemies, along with Jak.
- He can be a bit of a coward and act hesitant to risk his life for others.
- Whenever Jak dies in the game, Daxter tends to make sarcastic jokes about his deaths rather than take them seriously, though this winds down significantly in the sequels, with Jak II showing none of this, and 3 indicates it to be a parody than actual canonicity, with Daxter breaking the fourth wall mentioning the game director, not only that but he developed a stronger bond friendship with Jak, especially after his father got murdered.
Trivia[]
- He and Jak are the only two Jak and Daxter characters to be Inconsistently Admirable.
- He was at first approved Near Pure Good, but later got approved Inconsistently Admirable after being rejected for being too jerkish, arrogant, and egotistical.
