Dash, if anything goes wrong, I want you to run as fast as you can!
~ Elastigirl to Dash during their stay on Nomasian Island

Dashiell Robert "Dash" Parr is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Violet Parr) of Pixar’s The Incredibles franchise.

He is the second child of Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl who has the power of super speed.

He is voiced by Spencer Fox in the first film and by Huck Milner in the second film.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

In General[]

  • While his parents and sister are more admirable, Dash still stands out enough due to being directly responsible for Screenslaver's defeat by calling back the Incredimobile to their house which is the only reason he and his siblings managed to escape the hypnotized supers (and Frozone as well later) and then got onto the Everjust, where they were able to free their parents and the other supers to defeat Evelyn, prevent the crash, and ensure Supers are made legal again.

The Incredibles[]

  • When Helen leaves to Nomasian Island to rescue Bob, he stowayas in the plane to help, though it's possible he was forced to come along by Violet.
  • He helps Helen reach the island by functioning as a motor, using his speed to push Elastigirl's boat form.
  • When he explores the cave and discovers it's a rocket exhaust pipe, he runs away and drags Violet out of the cave, saving them both from being burned alive.
  • After being found by the Velocipods and Syndrome's henchmen he runs off and battles them, and while he kills three of them, it's "kill or be killed," so he is completely justified.
  • He saves Violet's life from the third Velocipod driver just in time.
  • After being engulfed in Violet's shield, he uses his speed to help them escape.
  • He suggests using a rocket to get back to the city in time, which is exactly what the Incredibles do with the help of Mirage.
  • He helps his family fight the Omnidroid by keeping the remote away from it.
  • After hearing suspicious phone messages from Kari and realizing Jack Jack's in trouble, he and his family instantly run in to try to save him.

Incredibles 2[]

  • Fighting alongside his family, he keeps citizens safe and away from the damage caused by the Underminer. He even saves an old lady from being crushed to death by rubble. Then he tries to help his family stop the Underminer's drill.
  • He agrees to help Violet when she realizes their parents might be in trouble.
  • He calls the Incredimobile to their home which helped them escape and later get onboard Devtech's ship.
  • He helps his family and Frozon defeat the hypnotized supers and remove Evelyn's glasses, personally defeating Screech.
  • He helps Bob stir the ship away from the city and brings him back up afterwards.
  • After supers are made legal again, he and his family become superheroes again, even going to stop a robbery in the film's ending.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He is way too rebellious and mischievous to be NPG, as he constantly played pranks on his teacher such as using his powers to sneakily put a thumbtack on his chair and making him look like a madman to the principal when he tries to explain his case, and based on Mr. Kropp's dialogue; Dash is also very disruptive and misbehaving in class. And according to Helen, he has been sent to the principal's office three times for his pranks. He also likes teasing his sister about her crush on Tony Rydinger and unsympathetically makes several jokes at her expense when she's devastated about what Rick Dicker did, resulting in a small fight between them. Even if it's just generic sibling banter, he still didn't need to treat her that way.
  • He is somewhat reckless as he saw the Incredimobile in some rich guy's hand and saw that his father had the remote to control it, so he stole it and let out the missiles on the car. While this was accidental after seeing it, he tried to launch them himself, and later tried to take the control from Bob or persuade him to launch them himself, despite knowing the weapons could hurt or even kill the people present. On the TV, it's even shown that he caused great panic among the spectators.
