His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Following the death of his girlfriend at the hands of Jason Voorhees, he spent the remainder of his life studying and learning more about Jason in order to defeat him once and far all, culminating in him becoming a bounty hunter who specialized in capturing serial killers.
- Prior to the film, he successfully captured six well known serial killers
- Knowing that only a blood relative of Jason had the power to end him once and for all, he tried enlisting his half sister Diana Kimble in order to help him take down Jason once and for all.
- While in Jail, he informed Steven that Jason could be reborn through another Voorhees
- At the Voorhees house, he gave Jessica the dagger and informed her that she had to stab him through the heart in order to kill him and that she was the only who could kill him.
- During the final confrontation, he handcuffed himself to Jason in an attempt to prevent him from harming Jessica.
- Although Jason incapacitated him, he ultimately managed to defeat him and kill him off through Jessica and Steven, the former of which stabbed Jason in the heart, causing him to eventually be dragged to hell.
- Although he was partially motivated by revenge, it’s implied that he also wanted to stop Jason from killing more innocent people.
- He’s easily one of the most admirable character in the Friday the 13th series (alongside Tommy Jarvis and Sgt Brodsky), mainly on the account of being one of the few to kill Jason. While Jessica and Steven were ultimately the ones to give him the final blow, it was thanks to Creighton’s teaching her how to do it. The reason why he didn’t get to physically help was that Jason incapacitated him by breaking his back after his leg had been impaled).
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He breaks Steven Freeman’s fingers for no reason while in prison with him
- He was willing to use unethical methods in order to defeat Jason by kidnapping Jessica's baby daughter Stephanie just so he could get her attention and help teach her how to kill Jason.
Trivia[]
- He and Tommy Jarvis are the only two Friday the 13th characters to be Inconsistently Admirable.
