“ | Blumiere: There were so many things I wanted to say to you...but I could not find the words. Tippi: Oh, Blumiere... Only one thing matters to me now. I never had the chance to return your question... Blumiere... Do you still love me, as well? Blumiere: Of course... I have thought about you every moment since you disappeared... But I have caused you so much suffering... Tippi: Perhaps...my life would have been more carefree without you, that is true. Blumiere: But I had to be with you, Timpani. I will never apologize for that... Tippi: I know, Blumiere. And I love you... Blumiere: And I love you, Timpani... Hundreds of thousands of years from now, that fact will not have changed... |

~ Lord Blumiere and Tippi when they finally get married. |
Count Bleck, or Lord Blumiere, is the central antagonist of Super Paper Mario. He is a man who resorted to destroying all worlds after his father banished his lover from their dimension. After realizing his fiancee Timpani is alive as the Pixl Tippi, he redeems himself in order to stop Dimentio from destroying all worlds.
His Good Ranking.[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Prior to wanting to destroy the multiverse, he cherished those around him no matter how different they may be.
- One such example was with Timpani, a girl he wanted to be with as he believed his tribe and humans could live together.
- Even before his redemption, he had a good side, as he saved Nastasia from a web, did not punish O'Chunks and Mimi for their failures and expressed horror when Nastasia was seemingly killed by Dimentio showing he cared for them.
- He also showed genuine respect towards the heroes, particularly after realizing that Timpani was still alive as Tippi and beginning to regret what he was doing. This is mostly evident when they confronted him, during which he deliberately goaded them into defeating them so that he would be stopped and even sincerely congratulated them when they succeeded.
- He redeemed himself from his villainy and decided to sacrifice himself, along with Timpani, to power up the Pure Hearts and stop Dimentio's plan of having the Chaos Heart destroy all worlds.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Even after his redemption, which wasn't until the very end of the game, he shows too little remorse for his villainous acts to qualify as NPG or PG, especially because the main reason he came to regret his actions was the fact Timpani was still alive rather than coming to see his actions as a terrible thing.
- This also shows that if she really did die, then he would never have wanted to stop with his plans of destroying all worlds.
- Not to mention, his screen time focused on more of him being a villain rather than a hero.
Trivia[]
- He is one of the two Paper Mario characters to be Inconsistently Admirable, with the other being Paper Bowser. By coincidence, they are both Inconsistently Heinous.
