Cookie Luvagetto is one of the main protagonists alongside Rayman, Lac-Mac, Betina and Flips in the series Rayman: The Animated Series, a four-episode CGI 1999 series that is a spin-off of Ubisoft's Rayman video game series. He is a anthropomorphic mole with a large snout.
He is voiced by Carlos Alazraqui.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He remains loyal of his friends. Becoming the supportive (if easily worried) smart one of the group ever since the first episode.
- He also contributes to helping his friends safe from getting captured by Inspector Grub as "wanted criminals" for escaping a circus that abused Rayman and his friends.
- In the first episode, he helps Lac-Mac test out his strength to bend a bar of cast iron steel, which gave Rayman the idea to bend the cage bars, ultimately creating the group's escape opportunity from the get-go.
- He kept a automatic bread slicer to cut stale bread and he lends it to Rayman to help him and the group escape from the circus.
- He helped a engineer who couldn't fix his car for 10 years, and Cookie doing this helped Rayman and the group being able to drive while staying out of Inspector Grub's sight.
- In the second episode "No Parking", he saved Betina from falling brutally on the ground when she was hanging on a cliff while Rayman and Betina were rescuing Flips.
- In the third episode "High Anxiety", he puts up with Inspector Grub's mentally ill mother and plays cards with her and tries hiding his identity by going by the name "Chester" or "Clarence" to make Grub forget Cookie was one of the "criminals" he was looking for (even though it briefly backfired on Cookie).
- In the episode "Big Date", not only does he warn everybody about Inspector Grub catching them if they went grocery shopping, but he also drills a hole on the ground and builds a periscope device so the group can see what Grub is doing beneath the floorboards.
- He also uses his decent cooking and baking skills to help contributing to Rayman's secretive plan with preparing the date for Grub (which he does once he saw the group feeling sorrowful for Cookie not wanting to cooperate before Cookie changes his mind).
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is way too much of a irritable jerk ever since the second episode. Often being rather grumpy, abrasive & stubborn, and being a nitpicker who often complains about anything he finds fault with, which gets to the point it becomes excessive and annoys Betina.
- He can be whiny and way too much of a coward who can get too paranoid over the smallest of things, his many worries and complaints he makes often frustrates Betina the most, and it puts Lac Mac in a sad mood.
- He is extremely arrogant, persnickety and generally acts condescending several times after the first episode. While this is mainly due to having insecurities and sometimes showing incompetence because of his insecurities, this doesn't make it any less of a prevention.
- Where the second episode has Cookie acting a little domineering and was willing to write his "last will and testament" and taking Lac-Mac with him to act rebellious towards Rayman despite Rayman being responsible for Cookie being freed as well (showing a ungrateful attitude), even when Betina asked Rayman asks Rayman why did they even bring Cookie with them, and Cookie acted dismissive towards Flips when she wanted to show Cookie a toy she had.
- In the episode "High Anxiety", while he was in a doctor's room and the doctor was testing Cookie's hearing by asking him to say when he can hear the tone with a ringing trumpet-looking device, Cookie claims how he can't hear him because of a loud tone in his ear, and he proceeds to stick his face in the bell to make the doctor twitch and spaz out from the raised noise Cookie caused before the doctor continues examining him.
