What makes him Inconsistent?[]
- He is too short-tempered and wrathful to be NPG or even PG.
- After his mission in Edonia, Chris goes AWOL and flees to an Eastern European town after suffering post-traumatic amnesia. He becomes a violent and moody drunk, earning a reputation as the worst customer at a bar he frequents due to his surly attitude and behavior.
- When the bartender refuses to serve him, Chris rudely insists that she pour him a drink, resulting in her kicking him out.
- When a patron at the bar confronts him for not leaving, Chris slams him onto a table and nearly hits him with a bottle, only to be stopped by Piers.
- After losing one of his teammates to the Iluzija and crossing paths with Jake and Sherry, Chris coldly rejects Piers' suggestion to escort them to safety to pursue the creature.
- He recklessly pursues the Iluzija even after it kills several of his men, resulting in almost his entire team being wiped out.
- When Piers rebukes Chris for his recklessness, Chris loses his temper and bitterly tells him not to get in his way.
- He opens fire on Carla multiple times out of vengeance, despite his orders to bring her into custody.
- While he subverts these traits by calming his wrath and sparing Carla, he never apologizes for his actions.
- He acts unnecessarily cold and distant toward Ethan in RE8. While he claims to do so out of caution and protectiveness toward Ethan and Rose, most of his actions are uncalled for.
- After gunning down "Mia" in front of Ethan and taking his infant child, Chris refuses to elaborate or calm him down. When Ethan attempts to seize Rosemary from him, Chris pushes him away and orders his men to knock him unconscious.
- After reuniting with Ethan by the lake, Chris continues to act dismissive toward him rather than calm him down.
- While Chris later explains his actions and attempts to justify not telling Ethan earlier, he never apologizes for how he treated him.
