Inconsistently Admirable Tricksters are heroes who use trickery and cunning to deceive people, one-up or defeat their enemies (including their villainous counterparts), and possibly play tricks on other heroes for their own enjoyment (given the conflicting circumstances).

They slightly contrast Mischievous heroes by motives and character depiction. However, both categories can go hand and hand since their hoaxes and actions may have a noble purpose but goes way too far for them to qualify as Near Pure Good and Pure Good alone.
