Righteous Killers, or Fake Lethal, are heroes who, despite having a body count, cannot be considered Lethal due to their killings being morally justified, though they can fall under both if sometimes they kill when it's unnecessary to do so (i.e. Anakin Skywalker, Batman (DC), Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog), L Lawliet, Raphael (TMNT 2012), Dexter Morgan). They either kill only when it is necessary for them to do so, with the need to survive for the greater good, mercy killing in ending someone's misery, are left with no other choice, a sacrifice that saves more lives or putting an end to a villain that is too dangerous to be left alive.

Manslaughter does not usually count as it is unintentional rather than premeditated.

This notably includes the characters who kill people because they hurt a loved one (e.g: Falco Lombardi killing Aparoids to keep his friends safe.)
