Inconsistently Admirable heroes who used to constantly see the bad part of their situations and expect constant dissapointment from their efforts but have since become more hopeful and confident about themselves and their future, having a more positive outlook. This heroes often also fall under the Reformed category, though not always the case.

Some cases include:

  • Inconsistently Admirable heroes who were originally optimists but became pessimists for a short time in the story before becoming optimists once again later on (e.g. Konan, Obito Uchiha, Optimus Prime, and Luke Skywalker).
  • Inconsistently Admirable heroes who were once villains that constantly thought negatively and on the down side before their redemption helped them see and understand how to be a better person and become more hopeful (e.g. Dinobot, Ronin, Soundwave, Sandman, Stewie Griffin, and Mr. Snake)
  • Inconsistently Admirable characters who weren't optimists at first and even though they didn't always expect the worst put of their situations they still had a severely jerkish and arrogant personality but have since become considerably nicer (e.g. Gale Weathers, Neito Monoma, Snotlout Jorgenson and Dracula)

Do not add characters who had a short period of thinking negatively but quickly returned to their normal selves (e.g. Spongebob Squarepants, Dru Gru, and Skipper)

NOTE: This category is only for heroes who were pessimists at some point. Do not add Inconsistently Admirable heroes that were optimists from the start.
