Jerks are Inconsistently Admirable heroes are people who are extremely disrespectful, mocking, unpleasant, ill-mannered, rude, vulgar, mean and/or insulting to their friends and allies. While some apologize for their behavior, most of them do not, leading to being the target of disapproval and dislike from those around and close to them. However, many of them (although they do not apologize) feel remorse for their actions and words, trying to make up for the pain and discomfort they caused. Most of them are massive jerks because of traumatic experiences and/or insecurities.

Because of acting ruthless and shameless in their bad manners, their jerkish qualities make them too mean-spirited to be NPG and PG.

However, not all jerkish IA are too jerkish for NPG, and some of them may have other preventions that prevents them from being an higher moral ranking than IA.

Their Evil Opposites are Affably Evil Inconsistently Heinous. Their closest Inconsistently Heinous counterparts of this category are Equally Hostile.
