You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
~ Harvey Dent's most famous quote, which foreshadows his tragic transformation in Two-Face.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness!
Anakin Skywalker: I HATE YOU!!!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!
~ Obi-Wan Kenobi asking what Anakin Skywalker has become before he burns up and ultimately turns into the cybernetic Darth Vader.
Tari: Sheridan! There's still time fix this! Stop your warp program and work with us to put everyone back in their bodies safely!
Sheridan: (chuckling) You think I'm stupid? I learned my lesson with TASCorp. I'm not sharing my work ever again.
~ Dr. James Sheridan telling Tari how much he has fallen and proving that he fully subverted his humanity.

Inconsistently Admirable heroes who turned into villains at some point in their lives. This applies to both those who stayed villains (e.g. Harvey Dent, Raiden, Dru Gru, Eren Yeager, and Walter White) and who eventually redeemed themselves (e.g. Steven Universe, Anakin Skywalker, Megatron, Eddie Brock, and Ares). Characters who already started as villains do not count, except if they become fallen again after redeeming themselves (e.g. Susie, Zuko and Odysseus). It is also a major reason why they cannot qualify as Near Pure Good or Pure Good.

Inconsistently Admirable heroes in this category usually are Debased heroes, who not only fall to the dark side but also shed their heroic qualities and may even qualify as Inconsistently Heinous or Near Pure Evil (e.g. Megatron and Bi-Han), but exceptions exist to the former if they redeem themselves or, if not redeemed, never subvert any of their positive qualities for their whole lives. If they were initially redeemed, they can't qualify as redeemed anymore unless they prefer to stay heroic. A subcategory of that is Wholly Debased, which are Inconsistently Admirable characters who are now Pure Evil and thus subverted ALL of their redeeming qualities (e.g. Griffith, Light Yagami, Dr. James Sheridan, and King Edward V), and must fall under Non-Heroes by default since Pure Evils can never have pages on the Heroes wiki.

NOTE: Fallen heroes can't be Reformed due to how they're supposed to be remained incorruptible even if they have several corrupting factors. No matter how they redeemed after being corrupted, it still won't qualified to be reformed. Plus, if the hero is already reformed, then you may remove this category.

They are the opposite of redeemed Inconsistently Admirables and their Inconsistently Heinous counterpart, although some can be both (e.g. Anakin Skywalker).
