*Laughs* Well it appears I successfully fooled you Rimuru! You really thought I could be controlled by such a pathetic trinket?
~ Milim Nava pretending to be brainwashed by Clayman

Every one knows an Inconsistently Admirable Hero is capable of corruption , in contrast to Pure Goods and Near Pure Goods, but there are cases where they may get corrupted unwillingly.

This is Fake Corruption, where an hero that wouldn’t normally fall into villainy gets corrupted in a way that they had no control of.

Their villainous counterparts are Faux Redemption Inconsistently Heinous.

Examples include:

  • Heroes who are brainwashed into villainy (Homer Simpson, Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic X)).
  • Heroes who temporarily join the villains side out of self serving or pragmatic needs or undercover reasons to bring then down (Milim Nava and Darius Deamonne).
  • Heroes who permanently ally with the villains yet do it out of pragmatic or self serving needs.
