Beavis and Butt-Head are the titular protagonists of the franchise of the same name. They are best friends (and implied to be half-brothers). Despite often being the protagonist villains of their show, they are shown to be heroes or anti heroes when they occasionally do heroic things.
They were voiced by the series' creator Mike Judge.
Their Good Ranking[]
What Makes Them Admirable?[]
- In Beavis and Butthead Do America, they helped in the arrest of Dallas and Muddy Grimes, and saved America from the virus in the X-5 Unit, saving thousands, probably millions of lives.
- They once gave a homeless man their doughnuts in exchange for his alcohol.
- As they are both Inconsistently Admirable, neither one lacks moral agency in their heroic roles.
- This is specifically shown for Beavis, as at the same time engaging in heroism along with Butthead, he’s able to assess right from wrong sometimes in plain words.
- They often show kindness to animals that they don’t abuse, such as when they nursed a baby bird back to health in "A Very Special Episode", even though they were trying to the opposite
- Beavis once apologised to McVicker for the destruction and trouble he caused as Cornholio.
- In "Most Wanted", they made an on-the-run serial killer laugh, feel a little better about himself and turn himself in.
- In Beavis and Butthead Do The Universe, Beavis as Cornholio gave the prisoners hope by allowing the county jail giving them all the toilet paper they can get, which made the Warden had a change of heart.
What Makes Them Inconsistent?[]
- They are so incompetent and dimwitted to the point they once forgot to pee, they can barely read, when they were sent back a grade, they didn't know what grade that would put them in, and Beavis suggested college and were unable to solve basic math and the list goes on.
- They are extremely mischievous and crude since their incompetence and mischief often led to them being very destructive, reckless and rude towards the people around them, causing havoc where ever they end up at.
- They are On and Off, since they mostly do villainous actions (even if in an amoral manner).
- Even if they are on the side of good, they are still anti-heroic thrill-seekers who want to score women and nothing more.
- They are rude and act like jerks to others, especially to those around them, including almost the whole staff of Highland High School, especially Principal McVicker and Coach Buzzcutt.
- They are very perverted towards women the encountered, as they are open and shameless in wanting to score any attractive woman they find. They also show misandrist and misanthropic tendencies.
- Overall, they are neutral characters more focused on themselves than others.
