| ~ Bayonetta |
Cereza, better known as Bayonetta, is the titular main protagonist of the Bayonetta series. She is the magical, hybrid daughter of Balder, a Lumen Sage, and Rosa, an Umbra Witch.
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Admirable?[]
Bayonetta 1[]
- While she was reluctant at first, she helped Cereza and protected her from the dangers, and took her to her time home unharmed, and gave her a piece of her hair ribbon and told her to not lose something she loves and that she can accomplish anything, which influences her future.
- She constantly battles the angels of Paradiso to ensure that they don't destroy the human world and defeats the cardinal virtues, preventing them from taking over the world.
- Saves the universe by killing Jubelius, the creator whose resurrection would have doomed the world.
- Rescues Jeanne from her father's control, thus turning her back to good.
- Kills Father Balder in her final showdown, stopping his plan to reunite the Eyes and resurrect Jubelius.
Bayonetta 2[]
- She risks her life by going into Inferno to bring Jeanne back.
- Even though Rodin warned her that this might be fatal, she still chose to go in anyway.
- Although she didn't trust Loki at first, she does eventually decides to protect him in exchange for his guidance to Fimbulventr, and shields him from angels, protects him from the Masked Lumen, and rescues him multiple times
- She does eventually save Jeanne's soul from Alraune.
- She fights alongside her mother, Rosa, against the angels threatening her sanctuary, preventing the massacre of innocent witches.
- Once she sees the truth that Loptr killed Rosa, not Loki, he does not try to change history. and instead she whispers (Mummy…) and accepts she must return to her time.
- She later realizes that Balder has been manipulated for centuries and that he is not a villain, which she once believed, and fought by his side and forgave him.
- When Loptr mocks humans and declares himself above mortals, she rejects his worldview and fights him even after he steals both eyes from her and Balder.
- After Balder absorbs Loptr’s soul to prevent the evil half of Aesir from escaping, he acknowledges that there's a risk he might get corrupted and asks Bayonetta to kill him, which she painfully agrees to.
- By defeating Aesir, she prevents all of existence from collapsing into his rule and saves all of existence.
Bayonetta 3[]
- She answers a call and saves New York from the Kraken invasion, saving thousands of lives.
- She takes Viola seriously, treats her with respect, and chooses to fight to protect the Trinity of Realities.
- She travels to the multiverse to stop Singularity and save countless alternate worlds
- She honors the deaths of her Variants and fulfills their final wishes and fights in their name
- She protects Viola repeatedly from Homunculi, Perlucidus, and Singularity’s forces and encourages Viola, corrects her without demeaning her, and encourages her, which later entrusts her with her future.
- She honors Rosa B4’s request in Paris and kills her because she was hijacked and before she harms more people.
- When Luka is transformed into Strider and losing his control, she tries repeatedly to talk him down, avoids killing him, and begs Viola to find him.
- She also attempts to pull him back to sanity even when he attacks her.
- She defeats the Singularity once and for all along with Viola and Luka and saves the multiverse and restores the universes he had conquered and rescues of those he had killed
- She then sacrifices herself to save Luka and allow Viola to inherit the future after Singularity is defeated and after her soul is knocked out of her body and Inferno drags her down, and Bayonetta uses her last moments to confess her love to him and embrace her fate and accept her own death.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She is extremely lethal, as she kills her enemies in the most brutal ways, especially when she uses her torture attacks.
- She also laughs when she does it and takes pleasure in it, proving she is rather sadistic.
- She is a member of the Umbra Witches, a group of assassin witches, and she is also a mercenary of hell, which is far too anti-heroic for NPG.
- She has many moments of being a jerk, as she sometimes teases her friends, which often leads to mockery.
- She is incredibly arrogant, as she frequently taunts her enemies during her battles.
- She has moments of being a pervert, such as her hyperflirtatious communication and even spanking her enemies on occasion.
