I'm Batman!
~ Batman when beating up all of the supervillains.
You think my muscles are big? You haven't seen my brain!
~ Batman to the Joker.

Batman is a major character in the 2014 animated film The LEGO Movie and it's 2019 sequel The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, and the titular main protagonist of it's 2017 spin-off film The LEGO Batman Movie. Unlike his other counterparts, he isn't as pessimistic, but he still maintains much of his arrogance.

He is voiced by Will Arnett.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

  • He defended Gotham City multiple times from various threats.
  • Saves Emmet, Vitruvius, and Wyldstyle from falling to their deaths in The Old West while being chased by Bad Cop.
  • Assisted Emmet and his friends in stopping Lord Business.
  • Lets Emmet be with Wyldstyle because the former deserved it.
  • Stopped the Joker from blowing up Gotham City.
  • Adopted Dick Grayson, who would later be known as Robin.
  • Sent away Robin, Batgirl, and Alfred because he doesn't want lose them, and when he realizes that his friends are in danger after he sent them away, he promised to bring back all the Phantom Zone villains and save his friends.
  • Fought off the Phantom Zone villains as they invaded Gotham and later sent them back.
  • Stopped Joker from blowing up Gotham City for the second time by admitting that the Joker is his greatest enemy, which he has longed to hear for many decades.
  • Married Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi to establish peace between the Systar System and the LEGO World.
  • Assisted in reverting the Armamageddon and defeating Rex Dangervest along with his raptor army.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • Even though he subverts his most corrupting qualities, he is still a big jerk who loves insulting people, always thinks everyone's ideas are bad except for his own, and suffers enormously from intense delusions of grandeur.
    • He tells Emmet he’s the worst leader ever just because of an accident.
    • He groans when Wyldstyle asks for help and he tries to leave by saying every man for himself, but he could easily deal with the robot cops.
    • He takes credit for Emmet’s idea of going underwater.
    • He tries to go with Han Solo and Lando Calrissian to party, which shows he can be pretty unfaithful to her and the team as well, and only comes back when there were no women at the party and to bring back a hyperdrive which he stole from Solo.
    • Even before they broke up, his relationship with Wyldstyle had a lot of red flags with cheating, refusal of attention, neglect, and he didn’t even know her real name of Lucy.
    • He throws a tantrum just because Alfred urged him to go to a retirement party.
    • He threatened to fire Alfred instead of saying please, which would soon become a turning point and have the butler put his foot down.
    • His password to his computer is "Iron Man sucks," and his backup password is "Alfred the Buttler."
    • When he shows a counter for good ideas he has and everyone else has, the former count is at over 5 million while the latter count is at 1. To clarify, this means that in his fantasy land he conceives nearly 200 good ideas every day for seven consecutive decades, going to show how extreme his delusions of grandeur really are.
    • He isn't very nice to Alfred during Apocalypseburg and he never even mentions Barbara or Dick in conversation once.
    • When he doesn't want to marry Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi, she insults his fragile ego until he changes his mind, citing that she'll learn he is the best at everything, including commitment.
  • He likes to show off his skills and brag about himself, making him extremely arrogant, especially in the first scene of the Lego Batman Movie in where he sings a song about how great he is and even says he doesn’t pay any taxes.
