Bruce Wayne, better known by his superhero alias Batman, is the titular main protagonist of the Batmam: Arkham franchise.
He is a vigilante that protects Gotham and its people from various supervillains by night after having his parents killed in front of him and wanting to prevent it from happening to anyone else, training himself physically and mentally from a young age to reach peak human condition in order to defeat any threats he comes across. After he is unmasked by Scarecrow on live TV, he and his butler, Alfred Pennyworth both decide to blow up the Wayne Manor to fake their deaths and find a new way to protect Gotham, using a modified version of Scarecrow's fear toxin to strike fear into criminals' hearts and continue protecting Gotham.
He was voiced by Roger Craig Smith in Arkham Origins and by the late Kevin Conroy in the Arkham series, who also voiced his DC Animated Universe counterpart.

And he tasked him to take this universe's Joker down once more since he returned from the dead.
- Even though their conversation was only one panel long, Batman respected Mainstream Batman and acknowledged that they are both the same in terms of heroism.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League[]
- At some point after Arkham Knight, Bruce was convinced by Superman to join the Justice League, an elite group of superheroes dedicated to protecting the world, and embraced his new identity as a public hero.
- His hologram in the Hall of Justice shows that he's thankful for his teammates for showing him the benefits of teamwork and not pushing his allies away as means of protecting them.
- He, along with Wonder Woman, was skeptical of Brainiac's ship when it arrived in Metropolis and attempted to discourage Superman and Green Lantern from boarding it when he wanted to "negotiate". In the end, Batman was proven right when he, and everyone else apart from Wonder Woman, ended up being brainwashed.
- He left a recording for the other members of the Bat Family as to how to eliminate each respective member of the Justice League should they ever go rogue.
- He also included Jason in his recording if they could ever find him, again showing that, despite still going about his lethal ways, Bruce still cares for him like a son.
- Even when brainwashed, he still cared for his friends and teammates, as he expresses sympathy towards Green Lantern after Flash is killed by Task-Force-X and vows to avenge him. He was also upset over Wonder Woman's death despite them being on opposing sides, wishing she could have been assimilated to Brainiac's cause instead.
- Although he kills several innocent people throughout the game, psychologically tortures and attempts to kill the the Suicide Squad numerous times, he can't be put at fault for it due to him being influenced by Brainiac's mind control.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Some of his actions make him an anti-hero, an example being when he was perfectly ok with allowing Strange to carry out Protocol 10 and kill hundreds or even thousands if it meant he could save Talia, only changing his mind because Alfred and Barbara convinced him to. Another example being when he is willing to viciously torture his enemies for information, such as threatening to turn Black Mask's pacemaker to 250bpm, pouring out the liquid nitrogen inside a plug that was keeping Mr. Freeze alive and driving over a militia members head with the Batmobile, which were all overkill, also breaking a thug's hand for no reason and dropping a thug into a Christmas tree from a high point, which could have killed them after they gave him the information he wanted in both situations and with him feeling zero remorse for any of these.
- He can be a jerk at times, as he often treats the people he talks to badly without considering their feelings, even his allies at times, an example shown when Robin rescued him and he didn't even thank him, even telling him "what kept you?" and only being concerned about the safety of the police officers, which Robin calls him out for and enjoys taunting some of his enemies when he fights or interacts with them. He also clashed with Barbara one time with his refusal to let Robin help him and locking him in a cell in Arkham Knight, which made her understandably angry with him despite his intentions being good. (However since Batman was mentally unwell due to either Joker‘s death or exposure to fear toxin, this comes off as understandable)
- He can be too violent and wrathful in his fights, routinely breaking the bones of his opponents and even threatened to break every bone in Penguin's body in a threatening tone if he didn't tell him the location of Barbara and the Arkham Knight one time and later makes the threat to outright kill him should he not stop boasting about how he nearly killed Nightwing (though the latter one was understandable given how much Bruce loves Dick like a son).
- He was going to cure Joker despite knowing that it will just lead to him killing more people and escaping prison again and again. While it's understandable that he wants to adhere to his moral code, Arkham Knight shows us that this would have caused much more trouble then it's worth, as Joker still repeatedly attempts to take over Batman's body so he can go on a massive killing spree in Gotham and finally achieve his goal of destroying it, only being stopped because Scarecrow injected Joker with Fear Toxin, which allowed Batman to defeat Joker and take back control.
- Gives Scarecrow an injection of his own Fear Toxin to give him karmic justice, but it ends up also putting Scarecrow in a fate worse then death with him being psychologically broken permanently with him feeling no remorse. While Scarecrow absolutely deserved it, this act is still extremely ruthless on Bruce's end.
