- Despite the future typically being non-canon, there are some instances that show that he'll turn his life around, become a better person, and go to heaven
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He's way too mischievous and an overall troublemaker since he is always pulling pranks on Skinner and Lisa. It's not helping that he also constantly makes prank calls to Moe's Tavern and humiliates Moe in front of everyone in the bar and is very often a trickster who likes playing by his own rules and never considering anything else in general.
- He is on & off, as he pretty much constantly does immoral and villainous deeds, like when he attempted to destroy the school with everyone in it by using an underground train, tried to run children over in the school with a lawn mower, ruined Australia's entire ecosystem and laughed it off, badly injured Skinner's mother with a cherry bomb, unscrewed everything in the school and destroyed everything, started many angry mobs throughout the course of the series, betrayed his own country for a Minibike, and worst of all, when he sat on the throne in church that Maggie sat on in "Gone Maggie Gone", he turned the chapel into hell and made the world miserable, putting it all in despair all while jokingly stating that he's "[so] staying up past his bedtime".
- He is very abusive and devious to some of his family members.
- He is especially cruel to his father Homer, who has he crippled and paralyzed multiple times and put in a coma. He has also tortured Homer in The Simpsons Movie by making him carry tons of bricks while shooting him with a gun. He can even be downright sadistic to him, as he once stopped Lisa from preventing Homer eating something on fire and found it amusing, while also giving him lighting fluid to double his pain. One of the worst moments of their relationship was when Bart attempted to pull the plug on him with satisfaction and a smile on his face after Homer got narcolepsy.
- He has given severe mistreatment and torment to Lisa, causing her both physical and emotional harm. This mistreatment dates back to Lisa's infancy, with Bart constantly seeking attention and going as far as to cut her hair. One time, he caused Lisa to lose all of her friends and in "On a Clear Day I Can't See My Sister", Bart's wrongful behavior drove Lisa to obtain a restraining order against him.
- There are also multiple occasions where he has tried to divorce Homer and Marge, to the point where he even had a book about it.
- He can even be cruel to dog, Santa's Little Helper, giving him away in place of Laddie and forcing him to get addicted to cigarettes in "Duffless".
- In probably one of his most infamous pranks, he blackmails Skinner with his peanut allergy by waving around a peanut so Skinner would do whatever he wanted which was not only cruel since Seymourâs allergy was life threatening, but his forms of blackmail are also cruel as well.
- He plays bowling with the school trophies.
- He forces Skinner to write âA Baby Beat Me Upâ to humiliate him and also to get back at him for putting him in detention.
- He uses Seymour as target practice and shoots tennis balls at him. When this runs out, he uses full soda cans instead.
- He makes Skinner say an embarrassing poem about cooties over the intercom.
- He forces Skinner to literally eat garbage.
- He has Skinner breast feed Bilbo Baggins in the store window, which was the straw that broke the camelâs back and got Skinner to blackmail Bart.
- Before Skinner could fight back, he planned on having the former wear a hat full of maggots.
- Although it eventually ends, he tosses peanuts at Skinner in the hospital which ends with the two tossing their allergens at each other.
- He's also too arrogant and too much of a jerk since he always stirs up fights with his father many times, physically and mentally abused his sister Lisa, and he often picks on Milhouse despite being his best friend.
- He commits vandalism by spraying graffiti all around Springfield and pointing it to his alias El Barto.
- He is also extremely rebellious and is always breaking rules for the fun of it, which often results him in being put in detention way too often.
- There was many times where he refused to take responsibility for his actions, like when he pulled a prank that got him under a restraining order, when he sent Edna Krappabel a fake love letter as a prank while admitting he only feels "partly" responsible or when he went fully nude in The Simpsons Movie.
- He once faked his own kidnapping and accidentally got Milhouse's dad arrested for it.
- He also set up a fake wedding to get free gifts, which got him sent to juvie.
- During a visit from a movie star named Glenn Tangier, aka Airshot, he watches the sequel and blackmails everyone in town with spoilers, including Tangier himself. Milhouse even calls him out on this, and he has to be brought to a virtual reality world to see the error of his ways.
- Overall, he is too mischievous, troublemaking, sociopathic, manipulative, abusive, on & off, devious, and jerkish to be NPG or PG, as he is usually doing immoral/villainous deeds and doesn't wanna face the consequences for his actions. Not to mention, he has also worked and allied with the Mafia on several occasions. In one of these occasions, him and Homer got access to lethal weapons which they planned on using to brutally kill innocent people. His morality is so corrupt, that he outright says that he enjoys manipulating others and putting both himself and other people in danger, which has caused Lisa to note that he was borderline sociopathic and prompted Homer and Marge to give him a sociopath test. However, it's worth noting that when he was taken to a hospital for sociopaths, he said he TRULY doesn't want to hurt people and kill them. It's also worth noting that most of his pranks are usually cries for attention from his parents (particularly Homer) who can at times be very neglectful and insult him.
