Ares is an antagonist-turned-supporting protagonist in the Warriors Orochi series. He is the son of Zeus and Hera and younger brother of Athena. He is also a nephew of Hades and half-brother of Perseus.
He was voiced by Makoto Furukawa, who also voices Saitama in One Punch Man.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- As the start of the game, he and his older sister Athena are help their father Zeus to recreating the world with the empowered snake bracelets. After Loki pretending as Perseus to stealing all the bracelets, he goes to chasing him alongside Athena when the coalition are joining the battles and found their new powers.
- After formed alliance with Shu and the warriors, he give Cao Pi, Hideyoshi, and Mitsunari a bracelet as Zhenji, the wife of Cao Pi who watching them to wearing bracelets before their attacked the coalition.
- He helps his sister to captured Perseus, who is actually Loki.
- In Greek Palace, he worked with his family to taken down the coalition which eventually to be defeated by them.
- Despite angered to killing his father and after joining Loki and Odin in attempted to seize the power to taking over the world with his armies throughout the games, he was setback when he was betrayed by Odin. Refused to be murdered by his former lord, he thanks to Yukimura and Guan Yinping for save him.
- Head to Guangling with the coalition, he stands up to Loki when Zhao Yun deal with Odin with the warriors. As Zeus's body was hiding in Osaka Castle, he and his sister are successfully to revive their father with the help of Fu Xi, Nuwa, and Susanoo where Zhao Yun, Yukimura, and Nobunaga are keep watched them before the final battle against Odin.
- After forgiven his father, he joins with him, his sister, and the coalition to defeated Odin and clearing his powerful weapon, Yggdrasil, instead.
- However, upon Odin's death, he and his family are sending the humans back to their respectively worlds.
- Accounting to the real Perseus, Hades revealed himself to be a mastermind who seizing the Yggdrasil in order to conquering the universe. He and his family are allowing the coalition to fall back to the past with Kaguya's time-traveling power combination with Gaia, save Odin from being death despite Hades tried to sabotage their efforts.
- At the Spring of Mimir, he and Athena are defeat their uncle and stop his horror under the help of Zhao Yun, Yukimura, and the coalition. After Hades's defeated, he and the deities are sending the humans returned to their worlds with safety where Odin is already to be very fine left the Yggdrasil forever.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Throughout the story, he is extremely arrogant, serious, pessimistic, honorable, charismatic, adherence, helpful, obsessive, bold, and wrathful god who fought with his family and took a strength into the battles.
- During the Fan Castle, he, Athena, Zhao Yun, and Cao Pi are managing to attacked Nuwa and the mystics before Susanoo appearing behind them, so when Liu Bei, Yukimura, Guan Yinping, the coalition are fight off the Olympian warriors and escaped.
- In Sekigahara, he leads Zhao Yun and his army to ambushed Guan Yu and his family. Although Zhao Yun battles with Guan Yinping and his father, he decided to defect and join with the coalition, in which help them to finding Perseus but failed.
- Under the service of Odin and Loki, he kills his father and causing him to dead. As Athena and the coalition are seeing it is much fearful.
- He helps his family and Gaia to find Odin's souls and eventually stand up to Odin at Spring of Mimir. Following Odin's defeated, causing the trees topple due to Yggdrasil's damage, he, his family, and the deities are sending the humans back to their worlds with safe.
- He joins his father and sister to mocked against Achilles at Guangling.

- He and his father Zeus are the only two characters from the Warriors Orochi series to be Inconsistently Admirable.
