Amy Rose is one of the two tritagonists of the anime series Sonic X. She is an anthropomorphic hedgehog creature ailing from a parallel dimension. She is one of Sonic the Hedgehog's greatest allies, though she often annoys him with her constant attempts to be his girlfriend.
In Japanese, she was voiced by Taeko Kawata. In English, she was voiced by Lisa Ortiz.

What Makes Her Admirable?[]
- Despite often annoying him, she cares about Sonic. She frequently shows acts of kindness to him. such as making him a platter of ice cream.
- She would always help Sonic on his mission to stop Dr. Eggman from attacking Station Square.
- She tried to convince Knuckles that Sonic was a hero when Knuckles was doubting the hedgehog's moral compass.
- She fought Dr. Eggman's E-21 Missile Wrist.
- She joined a baseball match to get a Chaos Emerald.
- She joined the heroes when they went to Eggman's base to steal the emerald back.
- She tried to help Sonic overcome his fear of water.
- She returned Lily to her parents.
- She broke Sonic out of Prison Island.
- She convinced Shadow to join the side of good.
- She went to rescue Sonic from Dark Oak.
- She tried to save Sonic from the Metarex planet.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She is far too much of a berserker to be NPG, as she often gets mad and throws tantrums for extremely petty reasons.
- One infamous moment has her threatening to harm Chris to make Sonic spend time with her. While she admits that she wasn't actually going to hurt him, it was still cruel.
- She is egotistical and constantly boasts about herself, mostly her appearance.
- She's extremely rude and demeaning even to her friends, as she constantly belittles Knuckles for things such as his anger issues. This is also hypocritical considering she isn't any better when it comes to managing her temper.
- She assaulted a child just because he kept tugging on her ear while she and Tails were pretending to be stuffed animals to not draw suspicion. Granted while it's understandable to not want to put up with that and she couldn't have done much else given the situation, she didn't feel sorry for doing it.
- Her affection towards Sonic is unhealthy at times. It reaches the point where she crosses the line by trying to find a love charm that would force Sonic to fall in love with her.

- She and Sonic are the only Sonic X characters to be Inconsistently Admirable.
- She is also one of two official versions of Amy to be IA as well in contrast to her mainline game counterpart, with the other being the Sonic Boom version.
