Alvin Seville is the main protagonist of the Alvin and the Chipmunks live-action movies.
He is an egotistical chipmunk who aspires to be a major rockstar. He manages to accomplish this goal along with his brothers with the help of Dave Seville.
He is voiced by Justin Long.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He and Simon beat up two bullies for making fun of Theodore and calling him fat.
- Felt immense remorse for missing the singing competition so that he could play in a football game.
- Willingly put his life on the line to save Theodore from a bird.
- Saved the Chipettes almost singlehandedly from Ian Hawke.
- He, along with Simon and Dave, saved Jeanette from Zoe.
- He, along with Ian, helped reform Zoe from her villainy and saved Dave instead of killing him.
- Saved Miles with the help of Simon from being run over by a car by flinging Theodore at him, knocking him out of the way.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is incredibly reckless, with his antics causing a lot of chaos and in the case of Chipwrecked, got him along with his brothers and the Chipettes stranded on a deserted island.
- He took advantage of Dave's trust, twisting his words as permission to do whatever they want, much to Simon's exasperation.
- He is extremely arrogant and egotistical, with him constantly being full of himself and often seeing others as below him.
