Adrian Tepes also known as Alucard is the tritagonist of the 2017 Netflix animated dark fantasy series Castlevania and a major character in its 2023 sequel, Castlevania: Nocturne, both of which is based on the video game franchise of the same name. He is based on the character with the same name from the video game series.
He is the dhampir son of Dracula and Lisa Tepes, who stood up against his father and tried to end his war on humanity with the help of Trevor Belmont, the last of the family, and Sypha Belnades, a Speaker magician. Afterward, Trevor granted him guardianship of the Belmont hold while Alucard became the guardian of Dracula's Castle
He is voiced by James Callis in English and by Shin-ichiro Miki in the Japanese dub.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- From the moment Dracula decides to wage war against humans, Alucard is immediately against it.
- He teams up with both Trevor and Sypha to stop his father.
- He shares his father's grief but still opposes him.
- Alucard had a heartfelt moment when he staked his father.
- Though he had to kill his father, he still cried for him as Dracula was the only form of family that he had left.
- He took his responsibilities of protecting his home and the Belmont hold seriously.
- He had a friendly relationship with Sumi and Taka.
- Alucard trained Sumi and Taka and showed them some secrets in the Belmont Hold.
- Alucard summons his sword to kill Sumi and Taka for betraying his trust and attempting to kill him.
- He assisted the people of Danesti and guided them to his home.
- He defended his home and the people of Danesti from an army of all kinds that included humans, monsters, and vampires.
- He developed a friendship with a woman named Greta.
- Alucard tried to stop Saint Germain from attempting to resurrect his parents into a rebis.
- He welcomed Trevor back and is thankful that he is alive.
- He saved Ritcher, Maria, Annette and Mizrak from being killed by Drolta.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He engaged in a fight with Trevor even though it was unnecessary and nearly killed him.
- He's a bit of a jerk as he spoke behind Trevor's back by judging his character to Sypha and tends to throw insults at him.
- Alucard unnecessarily impaled Sumi and Taka's bodies as a way to keep people out. This is highly corrupting as the scene itself suggests that he was slowly becoming his father and feeling how Dracula felt during times of isolation.
- During times of isolation, he impaled random night creatures and became a drunk. It got to that point where he compared himself to Trevor by saying "I'm turning into Belmont."
