Alhaitham is a playable character and one of the supporting protagonists of Chapter III of Genshin Impact and a member of the Akademiya.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He exposes a King Deshret fanatic, Tariq, for his attempts to scam the Traveler and Paimon out of 500,000 mora.
- He discovers that the Sages were manipulating King Deshret's followers into kidnapping the exiled scholars for the Sages' plans to create a new God of Wisdom.
- He offers himself as a hostage to be taken by Rahman and his Eremites in exchange for their kidnapped scholars.
- He arranges for the Traveler and Paimon to be taken prisoner by the Grand Sage so they can use the modified Akasha to unseal Nahida's consciousness.
- He deceives Azar by obfuscating insanity and swapping the Akasha order to ban public performances and replace it with a fake order for the Corps of Thirty to pursue an escaping Nahida (actually Isak disguised as Nahida). This allows Cyno to apprehend Azar and force him to release Nahida after the Corps of Thirty were distracted.
- He also was indirectly responsible for defeating Scaramouche and saving Irminsul by creating the plan to save Nahida, all of which done knowing that it would benefit Nahida in the long run as she will regain strength from her followers in addition to concluding that Nahida was required to save Irminsul.
- After saving all of Sumeru City from the Sages, he comes to investigate on Siraj, who was blindly motivated to have revenge on him for cancelling his hive mind project, which he dismantles using his own ego and arrogance, when in fact it was only cancelled due to not only violating one of the sins of the Akademiya, but also due to genuine practical concerns.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is too jerkish and self-serving to qualify for NPG, as he mainly participates in the plot against the Akademiya Sages solely to retain his position as the Scribe. In the English dub, he is more mean spirited and emotional in contrast to other dubs.
- Only in the English dub, he serves as being very condescending towards Kaveh during their arguments. In other versions however, his arguments towards Kaveh are not preventing due to them mainly amounting to teasing and joking there.
Trivia[]
- He, Diluc, Morax and Yae Miko are the only four Genshin Impact characters to be Inconsistently Admirable.
